Sudbury & District Swimming Club will recognise a club record claim when the following conditions are met.
- S.D.S.C club records shall be recognised where made by a swimmer who is a bona fide member of the Sudbury & District Swimming club at an event where they are representing SDSC, the Suffolk ASA or a National Team and has been a member of the club for a period of three months immediately prior to the recorded swim.
- Records will be recognised for the following age groups. 9 years and under, 10 years, 11 years, 12 years, 13 years, 14 years, 15 years, 16 years and Open ( 17 years and above ).
- Age will be age as of 12:00am on the 31st December.
- The record may be made in a scratch race held in public under A.S.A Technical Laws, where the Referee, Judges and Timekeepers are on the County A.S.A. or East Region A.S.A. list.
- The time shall be recorded with either AOE or by at least one timekeeper.
- Times recorded in a Freestyle race can only be considered for a Freestyle record, irrespective of the stroke swum.
