Sudbury & District Swimming Club

1.       Are responsible for ensuring that all those who wish to participate in the Club's activities are treated fairly and on an equal basis.

2.       Will ensure that all participants involved in all aspects of the activities of the Club will be given equal opportunity irrespective of age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, disability or religious persuasion

3.       The Sudbury & District Swimming Club’s equal opportunity policy will be consistently applied to :

3.1.      The recruitment, training and / or assessment of staff, coaches, swimmers and officials (whether employed, self-employed or volunteers)

3.2.      The provision of training and assessment of candidates for various awards provided by the Club or by the Amateur Swimming Association.

3.3.      The selection, recruitment and training of swimmers.

3.4.      Any disciplinary matter.

3.5.      The content, production and distribution of all publicity material used by the Club and / or the ASA (e.g. use of photographs or language, which may imply any bias and / or stereotyping).
